Victoria Cole Named Nurse for Child Deaths will facilitate the session which will provide an overview of the Chid Death Review process in Hertfordshire including how deaths are reviewed through the Child Death Review Meeting and at Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP).

The session will outline the statutory framework and role of primary care within multi-agency reviews and how GP information contributes the identification of modifiable factors. The webinar will also cover the statutory expectations of Primary Care, including:

• Reporting forms,

• Information sharing and engagement with families.

• Why the involvement of GP is both crucial and meaningful for both systems learning and immediate and long-term support for bereaved families.

Although this session counts towards level 3 training hours, all staff involved in the process are encouraged to attend.
