HWE NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) Quarterly webinar

We are hosting our next instalment of our quarterly free NDPP HWE webinars on 28/07/2026 aimed at GP practice staff, discussing all info regarding the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). 

 We will be discussing current NDPP referral and uptake stats across all PCNs and best practice ideas and resources to ensure referrals are consistent throughout the year for each area. 

The programme is vitally important at targeting those at high-risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Early intervention can help prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes and its related complications, leading to better long-term health outcomes and reduced pressure on the healthcare system, and this is where the programme can help!

 The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme offers numerous benefits, including improved blood sugar control, reduced risk of Type 2 diabetes, weight loss, healthier eating habits, and a more active lifestyle.
