What is Spot the Signs and Save a Life?
We are a suicide prevention campaign, helping to remove the stigma of talking openly about suicide. We provide training courses and signpost to mental health services available in Hertfordshire.
Our ambition of zero suicides in Hertfordshire is consistent with the national suicide prevention strategy for England. We also aim to improve support for those bereaved or affected by suicide.

Awareness of the Spot the Signs and Save a Life campaigns
Broadening understanding of people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and those who may be more at risk
Developing confidence in spotting the signs and asking questions to be able to identify those who may be at risk
Practical steps to develop confidence in recognising and supporting those at risk and affected by suicide
Signposting information and an overview of services available locally

What does the new HWE ICB mean for Primary Care, how will it take decisions?
Over the next few months, a 10-year strategy for improving the health of the local population and a 5-year joint plan for improving health and healthcare is being developed - where does Primary Care fit in?
The Chair and CEO of HWE ICB will share their perspectives and take questions.

introduce the Chair and CEO to a wider primary care audience and demonstrate recognition of the value of primary care, it’s role within the ICS and the current challenges being faced
update participants on the development of HWE ICB, the purpose of system working and a high-level appreciation of the place of Primary Care and the role of clinical leadership in the new arrangements
provide a high-level description of the development of system strategy and plans and the direction of travel for Primary Care as signalled in the Fuller Stocktake
