Understanding impacts of skin conditions long term, introduction in to common skin conditions encountered in practice.

Recognition of skin infestations and infections.

Recognising skin cancers.

Older skin and importance of assessing and protection and avoiding wounds associated with aging skin.

Understanding of treatments using soaps, moisturisers and emollients with broader understanding of their function in skin protection.

A course for Healthcare Assistants, designed to give a broader understanding of anatomy and physiology of the skin and giving ability in recognising lesions, lumps and bumps.

Please note, you will need to send us your booking confirmation within 1 week of your funding being approved as places are limited. Failure to do this will result in your funding being withdrawn and you will need to reapply.

Course cost

The approximate course per delegate is: £170

If your funding request is approved the Training Hub will cover the full cost of this course.
