PSP & CBS are frequently under-recognised and often misdiagnosed, leading to delays in appropriate care and support. Recent findings from PSPA highlight the significant impact of late or incorrect diagnosis on patient outcomes and experience—making early identification in primary care crucial.

This interactive session will equip trainees with practical tools to:

• Spot early clinical signs of PSP & CBS

• Improve diagnostic confidence and reduce misdiagnosis

• Support patients and families more effectively following diagnosis

• Strengthen referral pathways and multidisciplinary care

The session also includes valuable insight from a former carer, offering a lived experience perspective to support clinical learning.
