As the days get shorter and the nights close in, it is often a time for reflection on the year that has passed

and the upcoming new year.

It has been a busy year in the world of immunisations with the introduction of changes to the routine immunisation schedule.

In January 2026, more changes will be implemented with the introduction of a measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox) vaccine (MMRV).

In this edition we will cover the upcoming changes to ensure that you are prepared for when the changes come in (1st January 2026).
