This 2 day course course takes place live online and both dates must be attended.

This comprehensive course is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in contraceptive care. Participants will gain an up-to-date understanding of contraception developments and Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) considerations. The curriculum covers all methods of contraception, with focused training on delivering emergency contraception, facilitating informed patient discussions, and conducting thorough contraceptive consultations.

Attendees will develop specific skills in managing repeat prescriptions, including appropriate referrals to prescribing colleagues. Practical training will build confidence in administering Depo-Provera injections and providing tailored advice. The course emphasises the importance of establishing robust referral pathways for all contraceptive methods and provides a collaborative platform to address practice-related challenges and solutions.

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the expertise to deliver high-quality contraceptive care, improve patient outcomes, and navigate complex clinical scenarios effectively.
