About

The ECG Workshop addresses the needs of nurses, doctors and allied health professionals who encounter ECG monitoring and traces. Theoretical and practical workshops in ECG Interpretation are delivered by experienced cardiac professionals.

Content

  • Anatomy and physiology of the heart and conduction system

  • Lead placement for recording a 12 lead ECG

  • The normal 12 lead ECG and cardiac axis

  • Atrial abnormalities

  • Ventricular abnormalities

  • Disorders of conduction

  • Ischaemia Infarction and the ECG

  • Rhythm recognition

  • Clinical case studies

Learn to interpret

  • 12 lead ECGs & rhythm strips using a systematic approach

  • Understand cardiac axis and its impact on the ECG

  • Rhythm abnormalities, atrial, junctional and ventricular

  • Identify the effects on the ECG following infarction

Please note, you will need to send us your booking confirmation within 1 week of your funding being approved as places are limited. Failure to do this will result in your funding being withdrawn and you will need to reapply.

Course cost

The approximate course per delegate is: £299

If your funding request is approved the Training Hub will cover the full cost of this course.
