About
A Personalised Care Institute (PCI) accredited training programme for Health and Wellbeing Coaches working in primary care to deliver Personalised Care.
The Comprehensive Health Coaching training programme equips Health and Wellbeing Coaches with the knowledge and practical skills to support patients to set personalised goals, focusing on what matters most to them, guiding them to increase their self-efficacy, motivation and commitment to make, and sustain, changes to their lifestyle and improve their health and wellbeing.
The training follows and is fully compliant with the NHSE Health and Wellbeing Coaches Workforce Development Framework to enable Health Coaches to deliver the Comprehensive Model of Personalised Care.
The programme was assessed against the PCI’s rigorous quality assurance and accreditation framework, which means you can be assured that the programme meets the very highest training standards.
It is a flexible modular four day training programme, consisting of eleven modules, delivered across three consecutive days with the fourth day scheduled one month later to give trainees an opportunity to test and embed their new skills.
Plus regular follow-up peer support and networking sessions tailored to participant/group needs (commencing approximately a month after completion of the training programme).

How to apply for funding and apply for this course
Please complete the MS Form available at the following link: HWE Training Hub Funding Request Form (office.com)
The Training Hub will review and approve the course funding - however, it is your responsibility to book your place on the course you wish to attend. We will review and respond to applications in order of the course date (soonest courses first) and date received. If you have any questions, please contact us at hwetraininghub@nhs.net.
Once the Training Hub has approved your funding request, we will contact you with instructions on how to book your place on the course. When you have booked, please send us your booking confirmation to complete the process. Your booking confirmation must be received by the Training Hub within 1 week of your funding approval. If your booking confirmation is not received within a week of your request for funding being approved, your approval will no longer be valid and you will need to complete a new funding request form, via the MS Forms link. We will notify you if we have withdrawn your funding request.
