GIRFT webinar - The IP3D Programme: better diabetes perioperative pathways in primary care
About
Join Professor Gerry Rayman (GIRFT joint clinical lead for diabetes) on Thursday 2nd May at 12.30 to discuss the benefits of adopting GIRFT’s Improving the Perioperative Pathways of People with Diabetes (IP3D) programme, and how you can enable your patients with diabetes to be better prepared for surgery.
Our objective is to introduce the IP3D project to GPs and their practice staff, who have an important role in supporting patients on perioperative pathways.
The IP3D project provides an implementation solution to improve the perioperative pathway of people with diabetes undergoing surgery and has been successfully trialled and shown to significantly reduce surgical length of stay, with fewer complications and a better overall experience for patients with diabetes and staff. >Read more
